Welcome to the 2025 Silver Slam Match Play Championship!
The 2025 tournament is a match play team event that spans 3 days and 3 1/2 Rounds
Day One December 12 11:30AM Cocoa Beach Country Club
Day Two December 13 7:50am Duran Golf Club
Day Two December 13 1:30pm Duran Golf Club (9 Hole Shamble)
Day Three December 14 9:00am Cocoa Beach County Club **new start time)
FORMAT: We will have 2 teams of 12 golfers each. We will be playing team match play.
POINTS PER MATCH: Each match is worth 3 points. 1 point for winning the front, 1 point for winning the back and 1 point for winning the overall. ½ points for ties.
Day 1: Two man best ball. Think Ryder Cup. You and your partner play a 2 man team from the other team. Low Net score between you and your partner is the score used to determine winner of hole. If you have a net 3 and the other team has a net 4, you are one up. Each hole is worth 1 point. 3 points available to winner of front, back and overall.
Day 2: Two man best ball.
Day 2: 9 hole 2 man shamble (modified) ONLY 9 holes
Day 3: Sunday’s Singles - Real Man Golf
